چکیده

Lately, the utilization of natural colorants in textile dyeing and printing has come to forepart manufacturing goods due increased environmental troubles. In this study, wool yarns were dyed with ternary dye combinations (Scutellaria Orientalis L, Rubia Tinctorium and, Punica Granatum L ). The color coordinates washing light fastness investigated. Washing are fair good. Dyed worked calorimetrically their CIELAB (L*, a*, b*) strength (K/S), ∆E* values given. Fourier transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) morphological studies have also been carrid out on undyed yarns. From results, it could be said that extracted from plants good potential can exploited further.

Impact of Chitosan-poly(amidoamine) Dendreimer Hybrid Treatment on Dyeing and Color Fastness Properties of Wool Yarn with Madder Natural Dye

In recent years, chitosan and its different derivatives have been extensively used in surface modification and functional finishing of textiles. In this study, wool yarns used in handmade carpet were treated with different concentrations of chitosan-poly (amidoamine) dendrimer hybrid (Ch-PAMAM) and characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and their dyeing properties were investi...

Functional Dyeing of Wool with Natural Dye Extracted from Berberis vulgaris Wood and Rumex Hymenosepolus Root as Biomordant

In this study, a functional colorant, Berberine, extracted from Berberis vulgaris wood was applied onto wool fiber using the extract of roots of Rumex Hymenosepolus as biomordant. The effect of treatment variables on the color strength of dyed fibers was examined. The fastness properties of dyed wool against washing, light, dry and wet rubbing were evaluated. Dyed samples were tested for an...

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
